a) Select Station Setup button> Channels > Ch1 (or other depending on your configuration) >

Displacement > Channel Input Signals button > Sensor tab.

Confirm that the sensor serial number found under the Sensor tab in your software matches the

LVDT serial number found on your actuator (the tag is typically located on the back or bottom of the

actuator). This ensures that your configuration file matches your hardware and that you are able to

collect valid data.

2. Verify that the correct calibration file for the force sensor (load cell) is in use.

Repeat the preceding verification procedure for the force sensor by selecting Station Setup button >

Channels > Ch1 (or other depending on your configuration) > Force > Channel Input Signals

button > Sensor tab. (The force sensor tag is typically located on the force sensor.)
