Creating Custom Templates

This section provides guidelines for creating a custom template. In most cases,

the MTS provided templates will suffice for typical reporting requirements.

However, if other formats and data are necessary to conform to specific

requirements, you can make you own templates and include any or all of the

parameters and data available form the alignment validation. The software uses

‘names’ in Excel, which allows the user to specify the data for retrieval and to

place the data obtained into any cell, and thus arrange the data in a different

layout (i.e., on a single line or multiple lines). The sequence for making your own

template would be:

1. Start the MTS 709 Alignment software.

Note The demo version is used here for example purposes. You don't need to

use the demo version of the software to create custom templates. You

can create a template whenever you have data in the validate tab (demo

or normal version).
